DAY 01     ARRIVAL / COLOMBO CITY
You are met with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality at the airport, and then taken in your own private air-conditioned vehicle by our courteous English -speaking Chauffeur-guide to Colombo City, where you will check-in to your  hotel away in the the city, overlooking the Indian Ocean. This is an ideal place to stay away in Colombo city, as everything is conveniently located. After freshening up, you may attend a brief "familiarization meeting" where you can learn some basic interesting information about Sri Lanka, and discuss your upcoming tour itinerary, and even "fine-tune" it a bit, to meet your personal needs and requirements! Rest of the day free. In the evening, have a  lovely walk on the seaside, with the quaint food stalls and gardens to remind you that you are truly in an exotic country!

DAY 02  -     PINNAWELA ELEPHANTS / DAMBULLA CAVE TEMPLE / HABARANA SAFARI
Today, you will travel to Pinnawela to visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, where baby elephants are cared for by man. Then, a stop at Dambulla, home of the famous Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, with its marvellous Buddhist statues and frescoes dating back to Sri Lankas ancient times, all inside of an amazing cave! Then, you will check in to your luxury hotel.  After freshening up, you will enjoy a really thrilling Elephant Safari at Habarana!

DAY 03    -     KAUDULLA WILDLIFE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast proceed to KAUDULLA NATIONAL PARK. Opened in 2002 just before the massive Wilpattu reopened, KAUDULLA NATIONAL PARK is Sri Lanka’s newest national park, wildlife reserve and eco tourism attraction. Situated around the ancient Kaudulla tank, the national park provides a 6,656 hectare elephant corridor, only 6 km from off the main Habarana – Trincomalee road. With fantastic opportunities to see many elephants at close range, the park has become a popular destination for wildlife safaris that also take in leopards, sambar deer and the occasional sloth bear! As an additional novelty, you can go for catamaran rides on the tank.

DAY 04  -    KANDY HILL COUNTRY
After breakfast you will depart for Kandy, the centre of traditional Sri Lankan culture, and home to the Kings of old. There are brief stops along the way, to visit an ancient Hindu Temple, the 8th century Nalanda Gedige - a curious hybrid of Buddhist & Hindu architecture, a Spice Garden, Batik Factory, Gem Shop & also a Wood Carving factory.  After checking in to your beautiful hotel overlooking the scenic city and lake of Kandy, you will visit the historic Dalada Maligawa , "the Temple Of The Sacred Tooth Relic Of Lord Buddha", following which, you will enjoy a Cultural Dance Program.

DAY 05    -    NUWARA ELIYA / LITTELE ENGLAND
Today after breakfast visit Nuwara Eliya and a spectacular drive around the mountains, viewing endless tea plantations and majestic waterfalls, brings you to Nuwara Eliya, our "little England" where time seems to have stood still since the days of the British occupation, Visit  a typical "Tea Factory" & enjoy a freshly brewed cup of tea, and in the evening, you will enjoy a City Tour of Nuwara Eliya,

DAY 06   -   NEGOMBO BEACH
Yet another scenic drive down the hills , brings you to the beautiful Negombo Beach, which is a favourite spot for Dutch and other European Tourists visiting Sri Lanka.  Negombo beach is ideally located for a short beach stay, with golden sands, lots of restaurants and is generally a very nice place to spend a short beach holiday!. In the evening you will be taken on an interesting tour of the Negombo area, which will include the Fishing Harbour, Market, a Catholic Church, the old Dutch Canal, amongst other interesting sights.

This is a day to relax and perhaps do some last minute souvenir shopping, and to say goodbye to beautiful & exotic Sri Lanka, and its wonderful people, scenery, and mystical ambience, because today you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight home.
